This morning’s knitting meditation was about how I meet each day. I wake up hopeful, but also a bit wary: What is this day going to bring? Each day has the potential to be a great day, or a bad day. What’s the deciding factor?
My perspective.
I never know what’s going to come my way, but I get to decide how I feel about it. And I don’t have to decide right now; I can sit and knit and meditate about whatever it is for a while, consider the pros and cons. Even then, I don’t have to slap a “good” or “bad” label on anything. I can see how things play out. The important part in this for me is not deciding what kind of day it’s going to be before the day even starts. Today, I’m meeting this day with an open mind and a loving heart. Then, whatever happens, I’ll be ready to do whatever I need to do to make it as good a day as it can be.
Wishing you a beautiful day too.
