Suzan Colón is the author of the inspirational memoir CHERRIES IN WINTER (Random House) and a former senior editor of O, the Oprah Magazine. Her essays have been included in three Oprah Magazine “best of” hardcover collections, and she has written several books.
Suzan’s writing has been featured in O, the Oprah Magazine; Good Housekeeping; Marie Claire; Jane; Harper’s Bazaar; Seventeen; Details; Rolling Stone; and other publications. She has appeared on The Today Show, The Early Show, CNN, and NPR, among other media outlets.
A certified Integral Yoga Institute teacher and teacher trainer, Suzan created Take A Yoga Break, an iTunes app of Yoga-based moves that help counteract the harmful effects of long periods of sitting.

Suzan will be one of the presenters at the first Accessible Yoga Conference in New York City, giving a workshop called “The Yoga Tools” on Saturday, May 20 at 3 pm.
